This contract determines the rights of both sides cited above according to the Mentee’s service purchase from Mentor’s website www.pitchingdr.com. 

 

Services and Prices Subject to This Contract

On the website there are four different services Mentee can buy:

1. OnlinePitching Classes: Classes will be held on Saturdays, once a month. Saturday  classes start at 12:00PM CET(Central European Time). The classes take approximately two hours depending on the length of the Q&A section at the end of the class. The mentor may change the frequency of the classes unilaterally and without prior notice. During the classes; the content of the pitch deck, the essentials of preparing a robust pitch deck, and the points to pay attention to for an effective live and online, will be shared.  Each class is limited to twenty participants.

2. Canvas Business Modeling(CBM) Workshop: Canvas Business Plan workshops are made exclusively for the venture teams. Ventures are expected to participate with shareholders and key personnel, totally no more than eight people. The venture principal is free to choose the staff members to attend the workshop. CBM Workshop lasts four hours on average and is done in a single session. Participants are free to take short breaks whenever they need. The purpose of the workshops is to ensure that the ventures' CBP is accurate and consistent with its SWOT.

3. Design Thinking Training and Workshop(DT): DT is a one-session program that lasts for about six hours. During the program, there are two personal and four group workshops and the entire workshop takes about four hours. The attendees can participate in the DT by themselves or with a group of five people max from one venture. The attendees who subscribe are able to reach and download the syllabus of the program. As the program consists of several group workshops, five participants at least are needed for execution. During the program, the Design Thinking Circle will be examined and practiced as written on the related web page and detailed on the DT syllabus. DT program is to be executed once in four weeks starting Monday, May 31st, 2021 at 09:00 CET.

4. Private Mentoring(PM) Sessions: Special mentoring sessions are one-to-one sessions to be executed with the spokesman who will make the pitching on behalf of the venture. No other participants are allowed for these sessions. In case the spokesman is not decided yet, and if requested(this service should be requested as the first appointment is made), one common session with all spokesman candidates will be done and at the end of this session, any of the candidates will be proposed to be the spokesman. The venture is free to accept or deny the Mentor's suggestion about spokesman. The number of sessions the spokesman or venture will attend is entirely up to his own decision. An average ventures' spokesman needs about six mentoring sessions, two of which will be spent on the content and the rest for confidence, sincerity, and prosody. The spokesman/venture is obliged to make a purchase and an appointment for each session they will attend.

5. Service Packages: There are three different packages available. Each package consists of at least two different services(cited in previous sub-articles). The up-to-date packages are shown in "Plans & Pricing". Each package starts with Pitching training and follows with the related service(s).  In means of cancellation, packages will be considered to be as if it were a single service: after the mentee attends the Pitching Class, the cancellation of packages will not be allowed. Therefore; we recommend the mentee ask for a free audit (this service can be asked only once and lasts for half an hour) by filling out the contact form.

The prices in €(Euro) are indicated on the webpage of each service. An e-mail will be sent to the mentee within 12-twelve- hours as the service is bought. In this e-mail; the chosen service and the date will be indicated.  It is the mentee's responsibility to check the junk mailbox for this email and to notify the mentor through any of the communication channels above if the email has not reached him/her.

Delivery: Execution of the Services

All services are to be executed online. On the event day, the mentor is to send an e-mail to the registered attendees about the appreciate link(link for zoom/google meeting/or other platforms), where the event will hold. For workshop purchases, the mentee should remind that the mentor has only his/her contact information. Therefore, the mentee will inform other participants.

All services named and sold on the mentor's website www.pitchingdr.com will be executed by the mentor. Due to acceptable justifications such as a serious illness of himself/his child/partner, the mentor; may appoint another competent mentor like himself without prior notice.

Changes, Cancellations, and Withdrawals

Due to force-Majeure justifications such as a serious illness of himself/his child/partner or death, the mentor; may appoint another competent mentor like himself without prior notice.

Classes:

The Pitching classes and Design Thinking Training and Workshop can be canceled by the mentor in case there are less than 5-five- participants, 12-twelve- hours prior to the event, latest. In such case; the canceled classes’ registered attendees are free to choose any scheduled event(same with the canceled event)  to attend, that will be held in a month's time. Or in case they prefer to get a refund, they will be refunded in three weeks' time from the cancellation...

The mentee can cancel his/her registration latest 48-forty eight- hours prior. In such a case; the mentor will refund the service fee on his/her credit card in three weeks' time. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the training, the mentor reserves the right to make a refund by deducting half of the fee or not to accept cancellation.

CBM and DT Workshops and PM Sessions:

The mentee can cancel his/her registration latest 48 hours prior. In such a case; the mentor will refund the service fee on his/her credit card in three weeks' time. For cancellations made in less than 48 hours before the session, the mentor reserves the right to make a refund by deducting half of the fee and/or not to accept cancellation.

Service Packages:

The Service Packages will be considered to be as if it were a single service: after the mentee attends the Pitching Class, the cancellation of packages will not be allowed. Therefore the mentee is strictly advised to book a free-of-charge audit after he/she makes the booking and payment.

Time and Method of Payment and Purchase

Service sales on this site start 45 days before the event. The mentee can make purchases at any time until 24 hours before the event. Purchases can only be made with a valid Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit card.

On our website, the payment service provider of the purchase is iyzico.com and all payments are made using their secure technology infrastructure.

 

Conflict of Interest

The mentor; while mentoring the mentee, may execute other mentoring projects to other ventures or business owners, regardless of whether they are in the same industry/sector/vertical as the mentee.

Evidence

In the resolution of any dispute that may arise from this contract and/or its implementation, the records(including magnetic media such as computer audio recordings)of the mentor and the service providers of the mentor's website constitute definitive evidence.

Conclusion

All unsolved claims and disputes about the purchases you made, you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in İstanbul.

The mentee declares, (i) accepts and undertakes that he/she has read all the conditions and explanations written in this contract and the order form constituting its integral part, (ii) has received, examined, and accepted the terms of sales and terms of use of this website and all other preliminary information.

This contract was concluded by the parties on the date of purchase, the date when the order of the Mentee was completed on the Mentor's website and a copy of the contract was sent to the e-mail address of the mentee.
